Jazz in the Wood is a magical, annual evening event for the whole community to come together, meet old friends and dance the night away.
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and a picnic and sing and dance the night away to a variety of bands; the woodland is decorated which adds to the unique feel of this very special evening.
Jazz in the Wood has its roots in the wood’s opening event in 2002 over the Queen’s Golden Jubilee weekend, since then it’s grown to two stages each hosting a variety of acts while still keeping its unique Gloucestershire village vibe. Proceeds go to the upkeep of the wood.
What to expect? Music, dancing, good company and a large grin!
Jazz in the Wood 2025 will be on Saturday 14 June, 6pm to midnight. Tickets will go on sale in mid-March. The line-up is:
Remi Harris
The Revolvers
The James Oliver Band
Short Elbow
TCK
139 tickets
If you are being dropped off, please do not enter the yard. Please get out of the car in the lane and allow the car to continue along Ryalls Lane into Long Aston Lane and through Slimbridge to return to the A38.
It will have beer, cider, wine and soft drinks. Please do not bring your own drinks as we need you to support our bar.
The Trustees manage the wood for the benefit of the community. All event profits are spent on maintaining the wood, include tree care, maintenance of the water bodies and insurance.
Children over the age of 12 are welcome. The event is not suitable for younger children.
Due to the loud music and crowds of people, the event is not suitable for dogs.
Yes. Bookings cancelled more than 7 days before the event will receive a refund of the sum paid, less the ebooking fee. No refunds will be given within 7 days of the event.
We have never had to cancel the event and do not intend to do so for bad weather, unless it makes the event unsafe. In that case we would provide a full refund.
